At last, the D1 series has opened
and started this year. The series D1 Street Legal
(D1SL) has ended, and the D1 Grand Prix (D1GP) opens
1 month from now.
This year, Obata's plan was to investigate
the D1GP international series and Japanese series,
but, around mid-January, he experienced many problems
such as timing. He had a very busy schedule, but
still was able to qualify and compete for the opening
in Irwindale.
First match: In Irwindale, the yellow
86 will be used for battle.
Second match through rest: For the
remaining half of the season, the yellow 86 will
be revolutionized! As Obata checked out the first
round in Irwindale, he started participating in
D1GP. He supported those who were there by cheering
until his voice went out, and now he is looking
for the same encouragement as he begins his new
year. For sponsors and fans who wish to support
him this year, Obata is changing his forms and asks
that everyone cheers him on to the fullest.
Driver Voice
This year, the D1SL became a series.
Obata wanted to participate in this series, but
he could not change the setting for his vehicle.
His focus was to run in the domestic D1GP races
in Japan. He also wanted strongly to run in the
USA. Then, his wish came true! Soon he will be on
his way to the opening of the first battle in Irwindale,
CA. On behalf of Obata we would like you to support
him! He feels excited and most importantly wants
to create an appealing atmosphere for his audience;
one that is pleasant and enjoyable.
For Sponsors
We would like to thank all of the
sponsors who supported him. We truly appreciate
those of you who were there for him and would like
you to please continue to support him again. Thank
you very much.
Staff Voice
We have supported Obata from his
first D1GP competition. He is a very interesting
driver, and, expecting him to do more, we can't
take our eyes off him. Little by little, it is certain
that he has grown. We hope to showcase Obata's real
driving skills as well. This year, we hope that
Obata eliminates any misses and will gain himself
more influence. This is very hard, but we think
that Obata is going to make it! As a person who
supports/stands by him, he should concentrate on
his driving. We would like you to cooperate and
assist us in this year's competition. We thank you
for your support. We are looking for sponsors who
want to champion Obata. Also, if there are any car
shops that want to be part of or are interested
in D1GP and D1SL please feel free to contact us.

We, at Bozz Performance, would like
to thank all of you who took care of us at D1GP
in America. At Bozz Performance we service Cusco
parts. Many of the same Cusco parts that are on
Obata's D1 vehicle are also available for purchase
at our shop. Please take a look at our site.

This was first time at the D1USA event for me,
and I would like to thank everyone who cheered and
supported me at the event. I was very pleased and
honored there. Through an interpreter at the pit-open,
I was able to communicate with many people. It turned
out to be very fun and exciting. Thank you to my
friends and many others.
I would like to go to Irwindale again in the future.
Until then, Ifll make an effort to perform well
and impress many audience. For rest of the season
of the seasons in Japan during the D1GrandPrix,
Ifll do my best and try not to have disappointing
results. Thank you very much for your support, and
I would like you to continue to support me throughout
the rest of the season.
Thank you and I hope to see you again!

How do you do? This is WindsAuto. We are a small
company with 2 employees. We mainly sell used cars
as well as parts, but we also install parts, organize
event meetings, and do drifting as a hobby.
Introducing our staff: Our President and Representative,
Kimihiro Obata. From early childhood days, he liked
motorcycles and automobiles. After he was old enough
to drive, he went to the mountain, or as we call
it touge, to drift and also cruise day and night.
When he began going to the circuit, he got interested
in the world of speed and time. He won a couple
of races and got recognized throughout the years.
He then started drifting 5 years ago. He practices
every day and night to this day. He entered D1GP
(Drift 1 Grand Prix) in the 2nd half of the 2003
season. Last year, he was unable to participate
in D1GP in Irwindale, CA, but this year, he will
make an appearance there. Please support him there.
Employee, Hiromi Kajikuma She has been working
at WindsAuto since day one. She's considered as
Obata' s right hand man!? She loves automobiles
from early days especially dress-up cars instead
of sports cars. When she was 18 years old, she bought
her first car and invested about $25K!!! When she
began going to circuit with Obata, is when she became
actively involved in racing and bought herself a
sports car. She started drifting about 3 years ago,
and she enjoys drifting every time she runs. In
2003, she participated in the Asia Pacific Rally
in Japan and was also a co-driver (navigator). She's
been active in many genre of motor sports and loves
drifting. This year she'll be supporting Obata in
D1GP.

"This is my first international competition.
I'm anxiously waiting to meet D1 fans in America.
I'm so delighted, but trying not to become
nervous and trying to relax. I'm hoping to
hype the crowd with my run or performance
and to cause an uproar in the gallery. If
you see me at the event please feel free to
talk to me. Thank you for your support."

"I'm coming to Irwindale to support
my boss, Obata, but I don't know any English.
(T_T) I would like someone to teach me English.
Please teach me. (^^ HaHaHa...(laugh) I hope
that Obata will run great in the competition,
and I would like you to join me to support
and cheer him on! See you there."
